Overnight Guest!!!

Ruby ended up staying over last night as her Daddy was very poorly. This morning he has been diagnosed with tonsilitis. It's plagued him all his life but hasn't had such a bad bout for a couple of years. Mummy has just picked her up and they are off out for lunch and I need to get on with my jobs although I could quite happily go back to bed and get the sleep I didn't get last night due to the dog pacing all night long. I will be sooooo glad when his Daddy is back.

I've done a load of laundry this morning but no sense in putting it out now as it is too late for it to even half dry....there is no breeze at all.

DD and I will be having the chicken wraps for tea tonight which didn't get done last night as Ruby was taken out for tea by an indulgent Aunty DD. I stayed home and took advantage of a quiet hour......she does chatter that Ruby...lol.

I think a cuppa and a rifle through the fabric parcels that have arrived this morning is in order before I start chucking myself about with the hoover.
Thanks for dropping by.

Sorry about your son and best wishes for him getting the medical care he needs to sort out his tonsils once and for all.

If you get the chance catch 40 winks on the sofa this afternoon. The housework will always be waiting. Is this the first time hubby has been away from your dog? No explaining that hubby will be back tomorrow. Hope tonight is a bit better for all of you.

  2. Trouble is Sandy if I have forty winks this afternoon I won't sleep again tonight and I get myself into a vicious circle....can you tell I have been there before?

They won't sort his tonsils out even though he has had a bout of this nearly every year since he was born. We tried and got nowhere even though he is very ill when he has it.

Yes this is the very first time Smudge has been without his Daddy. They are great pals and I bet hubby has missed him just as much.....but without the pacing...lol.

  3. Hope you have a better night tonight,
They used to whip out tonsils at the drop of a hat when I was a child, but they don't seem to do that now
I have a fidgety cat because of Col being away in hospital!
