Stash Sharing Sunday!!!

It's a bit dull and dreary here today so I thought I would brighten up my post and share the lovely fabrics I purchased yesterday.
Bargain fabrics...100% cotton at £3.50 for a one metre piece but these tend to be end of rolls so sometimes have factory markings on the end which have to be cut off. No worries though as I think these may be destined to be part of a quilt.

Derby market £5 per metre. All 100% cotton. The green floral is just to add to stash as is the turquoise plain. The red stripe is to make candy cane binding for a Christmas quilt I am planning.

I'm starting a collection of blenders as I am woefully short in that department. These are from Hobbycraft £8 per metre but I just bought half a metre of each as there is quite a large selection of them.

Now I just have to find room to squish them into my storage boxes.

DD is cooking lunch today.....stuffed chicken breasts wrapped in bacon with all of the traditional sides.
Andy is pottering and after reading the papers I shall be cranking up the sewing machine to finish the blocks for the coin quilt.
Dancing on Ice and Call The Midwife tonight so all in all a perfectly perfect Sunday.

Hope you are having a perfect day too.

    1. I could have bought so much more but tried to show some restraint...lol.
I love Sunday....as long as it's not too busy. It's nice to have one quiet and peaceful day in the week.

  2. Lovely fabrics. I especially love the top ones - so bright and cheery. Enjoy your lunch - it's lovely to have someone else make it once in a while.

  3. Fabric porn on a cold Sunday morning-what’s not to love?! I’m prepping form-a-line easter cards and will stitch the samples during Call the Midwife. Gave up on the other programme. Catriona

    1. Lol...fabric porn indeed and it could have been a whole lot worse if I had bought everything I liked.
I want to give up on DoI but I am rather enjoying looking at Jake Quickenden and most of the worst ones have been eliminated now so it's a bit more bearable.

    1. It will go very nicely with the old fashion florals I am slowly collecting Jackie and the colour is so much nicer than it shows on screen.

    1. There's one or two ideas muddling around in the old grey matter Suzanne. I really need to make some sketches so I don't forget what they are.
