Day one of painting......hall and one staircase......done.
My arms feel like they have been ripped off and sewn back on but there is more to do.
Today I will start at the top of the second staircase and work my way down to the landing so that both sets of stairs are done and out of the way and then it will be all plain sailing.
Hubby is cooking lunch today bless him. Roast pork and all the trimmings. It will taste all the better for me not having to cook it.
He did offer to do some painting but although I am mad I'm not quite mad enough to let him loose with a paintbrush or roller...lol.
So quite a boring Sunday here....I hope yours is a bit more exciting.

Roast beef for us today, we felt like a bit of a treat. I feel your pain, painting the staircase is not for the faint hearted.

It is very summer like here and hot/humid. I am so very tired of it. Hope your weather is cool and good for painting. Take care.

I love boring Sundays! I love painting too but I'm not allowed as I seem to manage to get it everywhere except where it's supposed to go. Exotic tea here. Ex BBQ stuff from the freezer, savoury rice and garlic bread. I have all the veg but couldn't be bothered to do a dinner!

ReplyDeleteI used to be the painter and decorator in our house as well although Mark was allowed to do the ceilings - under supervision! I don't do it now though after the HA. We have a decorator and although I always think flipping heck how much, it's really rather nice watching somebody else do it. xx
