Deliciously DD!!!

There is a wonderful smell of roasting chicken coming from the kitchen......absolutely nothing to do with me as DD is fine tuning her newly learned cooking skills and flying solo this morning.
I am here if needed but so far she is doing just fine and really enjoying herself.
The Lasagne last night was awesome.

I am just waiting for Andy to get back with the papers so that I can have a lazy read of those with a cup of coffee. Taking it easy as I did myself a bit of a mischief yesterday while turfing out one of the bedrooms. Very poorly shoulders this morning and I can't even remember what I did to them. It could well have been the hoovering of the landing as the hoover is very hard to push over the carpet.

After lunch I have some bags of decluttered stuff to sort out for either binning or taking to the charity shop and then later we are going to watch The Loch and see what that is like.

.......and that is Tea Towel Mansion for today.
We keep getting little bits of sun....hope you are getting more.

  1. Thank you for that TV tip, I have put it on to record. I am planning on a David Attenborough viewing fest tonight.

  2. It's always so good when someone else does the cooking and it will be a well deserved rest for you today, especially with achey shoulders.
Not much sun here today but it has been very windy so at least my washing is dry. X

  3. Thanks for the reminder - saw The Lich advertised and it has a few good actors in it. I can smell roast pork here, sadly it's all my doing! Having easy new potatoes and broad beans with it. I can't be faffed today with full on roast. However if someone else cooked the full on Sunday dinner works, I'd eat it!

    1. I can definitely recommend getting someone else to cook Rach. I'm ready for something other than spring greens though so I will not be buying any more this week.

Sunny, very black clouds and wind that would take the hair off your legs now.

  5. Glad to hear DD is enjoying her new found skill. Will there now be a cooking rota so you get to have a break every so often?

Not heard about The Loch so I need to investigate that.

Bits of everything here today weather wise, rain, wind and sun. Hope the shoulders ease up over the next few days. xx

The Loch....a little bitty as the first of a new series can be but looks like it might be good.

  7. It sounds like you certainly overdid the activity, time to have a chill day. I've recorded The Loch and watched Poldark. That way I can whizz through the ads when I do watch it tomorrow x

Dinner was fab. She did a good job with only a little input from her Momma-x-

  9. I did a gammon joint in the slow cooker which is as near as I am going to get someone cooking. We watched the Loch, not as good as I had anticipated hopefully it will get better. We recorded Poldark for later today.
