A Hot Mess!!!

Well I don't know if it's just me but I am finding The Loch just one big hot mess. The sad thing is that now I am going to have to watch it through to the end as I need to know if they will ever find that poor guy floating at the bottom of the loch.
Thank goodness DD and I will be able to get back to watching Oz tonight. It's a pretty brutal, far fetched prison drama but we are totally hooked on it.

I slept like a log last night but have woken up feeling very achey and out of sorts. I'll soldier on through the jobs though and cobble together a meal for tonight. I have put some chicken to marinate in Cajun spices so that with some salad and some roasted Charlottes should make my pair happy.

The herb table is all planted up now.......

We have rosemary, parsley, spearmint, garden mint, chives, sage, Silver Queen thyme and lemon thyme. There is also a pot of oregano on the bottom which we need to find a container for as DD forgot that there were only eight compartments in the table.
I can't wait to be able to start using them now.

Quite glad of a quiet day today.
Hope you are all having a good day.

  1. That herb table is lovely, I'll show it to OH, he's looking for simple woodwork projects to make now he's retired. Hope you feel better as the day goes on. Your dinner sounds lovely.

    1. Let me know if you want measurements or anything for the herb table. I'd be happy to measure it up for you.
I think I am struggling with The Loch because there isn't one likable character in it and the acting leaves rather a lot to be desired-x-

  4. Room for one more on the bandwagon? The herb table looks great, I should be able to catch the slugs and snails as they slowly creep up the legs. A great idea for Coriander I can succession sow and always have some ready.

    1. I'm going to get Roz to put copper tape round the legs to stop the little blighters.
I'm not growing coriander as I'm not awfully keen on it. The bit I do use tends to be dried-x-

  5. Lovely herb table! It turned out really great!

I must admit I've been watching The Loch. They are showing it over here one episode each Monday on Acorn (a subscription thing that shows British shows).

  6. I love your herb table and your garden looks lovely as well. I haven't watched The Loch but we have watched a few things lately that we haven't been able to get into. I used to persevere but don't bother anymore, if I don't like it I turn it off. How many more episodes have you got to go? xx

    1. Awww thanks Suzanne. It's still a work in progress but we are getting there.

I don't usually bother to carry on watching things I don't like but I really do need to know if they will ever find this poor man who has had his heart cut out, been tied to a weight and dropped in the loch. He's been floating down there for four weeks now...lol.
Thank goodness it is only a six parter so two more to go.
      Hugs-x-
