Everything back to normal today.
The kitchen floor is covered in piles of laundry waiting to be done and there will be a meal to cook later.
I also want to get a top for myself cut out and make a start on sewing it in between loading the washer and pegging out.
Andy is off for the week and he is out in the garden putting some blocks under the shed........which he has just come in and informed me he needs help with....dammit....I could have done without that....lol.
Oh well it's nice out so a bit of fresh air will do me good.

DeleteThat's what I call a thoughtful tailor made gift for a grandma. My late MIL loved when we made her cards, gifts etc whereas my own mother always assumed we were skint! Hope you've managed to get some sewing done-my own machine is still not back from servicing and I'm pining for it now! Catriona

I've also seen jars where people write down good things that happen each day and take them out to read on days when they may be feeling a little down. Brilliant ideas aren't they Wendy.

What a lovely gift from Ruby. You are obviously a very much loved ganma. I think a few tears are definitely permitted on your birthday when you receive such a beautiful gift.
