Roasting beef, freshly mown grass and earth that is being dug over.
Sunday is smelling so delicious.
The sun is out and the sky is a beautiful smokey blue.
A perfect spring day.
I have everything cut out now for the pattern weights so in between checking on the beef and preparing other things I will be starting on sewing them up and I will be back with another post later especially for Jackie down at Winters End.
Before I start though I must go and do my hands with a hand scrub as they are very dry and acting like a fuzzy felt board when I am handling the pieces of felt.
OK....time to check on that beef.
What are you all up to on this gorgeous day?

Your house must smell divine. We're hoping to eat in the garden today as the weather is only supposed to last the weekend, but isn't it lovely to bask in xx
ReplyDeleteIt is smelling pretty good Cheryl.
DeleteHow lovely to be eating out in the garden. We haven't got our furniture out yet. I wish we had thought of it though.
Have a lovely time-x-
Sounds like a perfect day, we have been out to the car boot so no roast today, just cheese and wine x
ReplyDeleteI can think of nothing nicer than a cheeseboard with some pickles and crusty bread rather than a roast dinner but unfortunately Andy would sack me. I just can't break his habit of having a roast on a Sunday but I will keep on trying.
DeleteHope you got some good bargains at the car boot-x-
I was shovelling sand and cement into a mixer...got plastered literally and very very tired! x
ReplyDeleteI hope you slept well after that then.
DeleteHow is your shoulder now?

I was out and about in Skipton strolling the cobbles in the sunshine for most of the day. I looked...but didn't buy a thing bar for some liver for the HG tea tonight! Oh and a bag of emergency frozen peas to keep said liver cold in my cool bag - I'd forgotten to pack the ice packs!
ReplyDeleteYum, Yum.....braised liver and onions?
DeleteWhat a lovely place to be out in the sunshine.
