Despite my love of strong colour I do have another love.........pure white. Now for me the Goddess of White has to be Sue Nelson. Not all of her cards are pure white but the ones she does are utter perfection.
I have used one of her cards as inspiration for today's card which is all made from card embossed in Cuttlebug folders. The torn edges and the houses are highlighted with Frosted Lace Stickles.
I have had a very peaceful day today but have only managed about half an hour upstairs as I decided to bite the bullet and tackle the ironing while DD was in bed and DH was out helping his friend. Four flaming hours I stood at the ironing board. DD's jeans are a nightmare as she wears those horrible baggy things covered in pockets and I must have ironed about 30 t shirts. I also cooked a Chilli and bathed the dog so tomorrow I am having the day off as I have been very domestic over the last couple of days. I am going to spend all day up in my work room and will only come out when hubby shouts me down for dinner......lol!!!
It's been weird weather here today. The morning mist never lifted until just around tea time and it's been eerily quiet on the estate..........that's no bad thing though.....lol!!!
Tonight I watched I Am Legend with hubby........it still made me cry and he still laughs at me crying at films. Felt like hitting him with the poker but I resisted....lol!!!
Off to have a game of Fowl Words before I shuffle off to bed.......just helps to keep the old brain cells from dessicating.
Thank for your visit.

Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog, Sheila! I check in on yours lots and it always makes me smile! Your chrissy cards are amazing, might have to start on mine soon, none left from last year! Heatwave about to hit you isn't it? Here it's cold, very wet & windy - long winter I reckon!

Debby is quite right, this card is really elegant. I love the way you've layered the different embossed card.
