Busy Week!!!

Well I don't seem to have had five minutes this week it's been such a busy week.
Had to change my workdays to fit in a hospital appointment later today and I really missed having Monday at home.
Tuesday I was at work all day and then straight out after to Derby to spend the evening with the very gorgeous Ruby Doodle. DS cooked me a fabulous tea and we had a lovely few hours just chatting and relaxing.
Yesterday I came down with a rotten cold. Normally I don't catch colds and it must be five years or more since I had one this bad.
There are projects waiting to be photographed which I am going to try and get done before I go to the hospital and I will hopefully post something tonight.
I am getting back into the swing of things slowly and hopefully if I get good news about my scans today it will lift away the last of the black cloud that has been hanging over me for a few weeks now and I can get back to normal.

Can anyone recommend a really good non greasy hand cream?
I don't know if it's the water tablets I am taking but my hands are so dry and sore at the moment and nothing I use is relieving them. It's making working with ribbons and suchlike very difficult so I would appreciate any recommendations. So far I have tried E45 cream, Sanctuary and Soap and Glory. My hands smell gorgeous but they are as rough as sandpaper.

Right I shall go and get a few jobs done before I get showered and changed.
Catch you later.

  1. Hi Sheila,

There is a handcream from Lush. I think it's called 'Dream Cream' and it's very good .... There's a shop in Derby.

    Hope this helps

  2. Hi Shiela, I really like Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, it is a little greasy so perhaps best not to use it before card making but a really good one to use at bed time.

  3. I was going to recommend the same handcream as Carol. It has quite an odd feel to it when you rub it in but it soon soaks in especially if your hands are really dry and it does create and extremely good barrier against moisture. Avon also do one which has exactly the same texture and works just as well if not better but I can't remember what it's called.

  4. There's a good Neutragena one that comes in a little pump bottle rather than a tube, which is more creamy than the other one, and is less greasy, if that helps.
