The tag has been cut from the front of a printed card blank (never quite sure what to do with them) which came in a PaperMania bag of goodies. I've inked around the edge with a deep coral
and then gold before adding the punched and folded circle top. The little postage stamp has been stuck onto a piece of acetate and trimmed right to the edge to save cutting around all the fiddly bits. This was then attached with a foam pad.
I have five days off now and need to spend a couple of days catching up on housey stuff during the day including a mammoth freezer filling day on Saturday then crafting in the evenings if I am not too whacked. After that I will have three glorious days to myself......yay!!!
We've had internet problems since last night but all is sorted now so I'm off to catch up on a bit of surfing and a looksee if there's anything on the Iplayer thingy to see if there are any cookery programmes to catch up on. I have just caught up with Economy Gastronomy which is fabulous and Hairy Bikers which has me in stitches. Watched some Nigel Slater last night before the internet went down and that was pretty good too.........oooooh I feel a Domestic Goddess session coming on..........lol!!!
Bye for now.

I'm not very good and deciding how to use ready made stickers either but you've made a lovely job of this as usual.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are gorgeous - very warm and rich.

Hi Sheila
ReplyDeleteLike you I don't go for stickers. I usually give them away to a little girl for her to use.
I need to take a second look before I give them away in future because you have made a gorgeous card here.
Great colour combo and your ribbon is delicious.
Have a great weekend.
Love Jules xx
This is a beautiful, beautiful card! You are so talented!!!
