Wax On......Wax Off!!!

A card made using the wax paper resist technique. This has been embossed in a Cuttlebug folder before being ironed onto the gloss card.
Chandelier stamp is from a Prima set of clear UM's.
Ink used is Adirondack Cranberry.
Well I am proper put out today. Can you believe that my hubby forgot to pick me up from work? What a plank!!!
He was nearly an hour late so with being late home I bet I won't get much crafting done tonight as my printer needs a bit of messing with. It's not working very well.
I have cleaned the print heads using the programme for my printer but it still has faint lines across anything printed off. Could do without having to buy a new one if this one decides it's had enough.
Thanks for dropping by.

  2. Hi Sheila. I've just got home after 2 days at my daughter's so it's the first chance I've had to comment since Tuesday.

As Jo said yesterday, we had a brilliant time. As always at your classes, we had a go at some fab techniques and came home with some lovely makes and on top of all that the company was great. Boy, did we have some laughs! I can't think of a better way to spend a day.

I'd also like to add my thanks to Jo's for you staying a bit later so we could shop (it was all the laughing wot did it!) and thanks to your OH too for waiting patiently. As Jo said, we will be back!

    Hugs

  5. Hi Sheila

Brilliant card. What a great technique.

I too have the same problem with my "new" printer. I had to go through the head cleaning process at least 10 times until it sorted itself out!!

    Love Jules xx

  7. I have a card exactly like this on my mantelpiece. Yes, Sheila, I sorted out that duff wonky mat after I got home from the workshop! It looks gorgeous even though I made it. I'm going to be doing a lot more waxing because I think it's such a great technique. You are truly a fab teacher.
