A Card At Last!!!

Stayed up all night on Tuesday night to get this card just right as I needed it for a workshop later today and wanted to get all the templates cut while I was at work yesterday............which didn't happen as I was too busy with customers and deliveries........but there you go......customers are much more important.
I have used a set of clear stamps by Prima along with gorgeous Chocolate Mocha Core'dinations cardstock. The cardstock has been sanded before being stamped with various images.
The shutters have been cut after stamping which makes life so much easier as at first I was cutting them before and they kept popping open just as I went to put the stamp down.
The chandelier has been stamped onto Bazzill as have the tassels.
I think this would make a fab new home card and just by changing the stamps and card colours it could be made modern or more traditional rather than vintage.
I shall do a couple more myself in other styles to see how they turn out.
Anyway.......busy day as I said. We now have the Daisy and Dandelion stamps back in stock and we finally got our Debbi Moore embossing powders both regular and Metal Magic so I am looking forward to playing with those hopefully over the weekend......although I do still have decorating to finish.
Need to go and catch up on some sleep now.
Thanks for your visit.

  1. This is gorgeous Sheila. Love everything about it. Jo and I can't wait for the classes next Tuesday.

  2. WOW, this card was worth the wait, it is so beautiful, having read the previous comment, is this the card you will be doing as a class next Tuesday? If so, is the class full?

  3. Thanks for another enjoyable class today Sheila. Enjoyed making this card and got a bit of inspiration as to how I can adapt and use the idea in other ways too. Thanks again. Ruth
