Ooooh I am so glad these aren't real cakes. I have made 24 of them so that I have some to hand for personalised cards if I get any orders once they hit the shop.
Cake is hand cut and then embossed in the Cuttlebug, wrapped with ribbon which has then been dotted with Viva pearl pen and decorated with a tiny bouquet of flowers.
Yesterday was Miss Doodles second birthday and we had a party at the local village hall.
It was fabulous.
This is the only picture I have where you can see Ruby's face. She was on the go for the whole time and most of the pics ended up being either the back of her head or her bum as she crawled in and out of things.
I spent a lot of time crawling around on the floor as we had a roll of lining paper rolled out the length of the hall with crayons for all the kids to draw on it. DDIL is going to roll it up to tie with a ribbon for a keepsake......what a great idea.
There was a rather nice compliment from one of DDIL's work colleagues who was there with her little grandson........she thought I was DS's sister. Must be doing something right as that is twice in the last month that I have been told I don't look my age.
Well that's it from me......Dancing On Ice is just about to start and I need to bag my seat.
Thanks for dropping by.

PS...I have added a page to sell off some of my unused/unwanted craft stuff if anyone is interested,
The wedding card is beautiful Sheila. That amount of work would take me ages.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fab time had by all at Miss Doodle's birthday bash.

Beautiful wedding card Sheila, I find the 'w' cards very hard to do !
ReplyDeleteLooks like the birthday party was a huge success, and what a superb idea to keep the roll of paper, a great keepsake.
