How lovely to wake up to rain and slightly cooler temperatures this morning although the forecast says it will be warmer and brighter this afternoon.
No Ruby to prepare for today as she and the rest of the family are having a whale of time down South at the seaside. I got a wonderful photo through of Marlowe last night....boy that girl can spread chocolate ice cream further than I have ever seen it spread before...lol.
DD and I are off out shopping tonight. Just a few top ups of basics and we'll probably eat out too to save cooking when we get in.
Andy is fed ready for work so I just have to wash the pots and wipe down in the kitchen and I'll be back at the sewing machine for a while.
Hope you all have a lovely day today.

I'm hoping for cooler weather! It was lovely camping as we were by the lake and it was cooler but coming back home it's been about 34c+ each day and only cooling down to 21c at night - too hot for me! I hope you have a relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteGood grief...34C....I'd be a puddle on the floor. I struggle with the 26C+ we have been getting.

It has just turned overcast here but no rain as yet. I think we might be getting some at the end of the week. The weather so far has been glorious. I'm getting fed up of applying sun cream. X
ReplyDeleteOvercast here today but the heat has gone up again.
DeleteI'm never out in the sun for very long so luckily I don't have to use sun cream....I can't bear the smell of it.

We have a lovely warm day here. Just right for drying the laundry. It will smell all fresh air and sunshiney when I bring it in.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog, Sheila you make me feel ashamed as you're always whizzing around doing things... and get in 'Oven Clean' for your cooker worth the money and the cooker ends up looking as new.
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely over in Lytham, sunny but with a cool breeze but back here in Manchester it's muggy and needs to rain to clear the air but refuses to do so. Which is just typical isn't it especially in a city that's known for it's rain. Sounds like Marlowe is having a wonderful time on holiday :) xx
