I've Made A Start!!!

At last I have made a start on cleaning the kitchen.
Today under the sink got a good sort out and scrub and the inside of the window and frame now looks sparkling.
I have also cleared a lot of stuff from the worktops so there is now room to move.
I'll carry on over the week doing a bit at a time.

No time for crafty stuff today because as soon as I finished cleaning it was time to start on tea....marinated pork chops with roasted baby potatoes and salad....it is smelling good and should just about be ready to serve up.

Hope you've all had a good day.

  1. Criky Sheila you nearly made me jealous but not quite. We took down all our Christmas tree and lights etc yesterday so today was the BIG clean of the lounge and bedroom.. maybe under the sink sometime in 2020!

    1. I must be honest Chris it has taken me a while to summon up the energy to do it. It should have been done weeks ago.

  2. I don't know about you but when my kitchen has had a really good clean I seem to enjoy cooking more. Unfortunately, neither the clean kitchen or the joy of cooking seems to last more than 2 or 3 days ;) xx

  3. Good for you! I must admit that I don't like cleaning very much. I do need to make a list and do thorough cleaning of all rooms. It's just not something I want to do so I've been putting it off...sigh

  4. Hi Sheila - I have just been having one of those roams around blogland looking at the links in other bloggers sidbars and it led me here.
I too am on a cleaning mission at the moment having just got my new pantry sorted out which has taken an age. Now I must sort out the kitchen - I have cabinets that are actually empty since moving the food into the pantry so I need to have a good sort out and move around. We will never find anything when I do. Wishing you a Happy New Year and I will be back I have put you on my follow list.
