At last we have had a proper engineer turn up to look at the boiler.
It isn't fixed yet as he is having to order a part so we will probably be without the heating and hot water for another weekend which is a bit of a bummer as we have Ruby here...... but as there is light now at the end of the tunnel I think we will cope.

Oh Sheila...that is quite a long time with no heating or hot water...in November too! Lovely news about the Doodles though. I hope they settle in and really love the place. xx
