Lazy Woman!!!

I should have been going in to the big town this morning but I just couldn't be bothered after a rather painful evening yesterday with an abcess under one of my back teeth. It just came out of nowhere and I have sent it back there with a good old fashioned hot water bottle, some painkillers and some Corsodyl mouthwash.
DD has gone in by herself as she wants to join a gym in the town where she can meet her friends after work and have some company while she does her thing on the treadmill or in the pool.

Now she is back I am off into little town to buy a joint for Sunday lunch and some fresh veg to go with it....how exciting...lol.

Thank you all for your comments yesterday. I am glad I am not alone.

Have a lovely weekend.

  1. Hope you get your tooth sorted. I really need to get a dentist as some of my back teeth are shocking and will lead to the abcess stage soon if left any longer. All the best x

    1. It's sorted Faith. The hot water bottle does a great job....as hot as you can stand it for as long as you can stand it and once it has burst a good rinse out with some Corsodyl....bye bye abcess.
No mucking about with dentists for me....I'm too scared-x-

  4. You should get it checked out, the infections from tooth abcesses can enter the blood stream and cause a secondary infection around the heart called bacterial endocarditis. brain,

  6. Aww Sheila that's awful...alcohol can be quite numbing...my old dentist used to say salt water as hot as you can stand...but don't take any chances with an abscess...they can cause other problems. x

    1. Thanks Jackie.
I can't drink alcohol unfortunately but I tried the salt water before years ago when I had one.
I think I may have to bite the bullet and go to a dentist as I think the tooth may need to come out-x-

  7. Ouch! That sounds painful. Never had an abcess touch wood but a work colleague struggled with one for weeks. I'd have just said pull the tooth but they're not inclined to just do that these days are they. Hope you get it sorted out. xx
