I have decided to stop blogging for a while and will be removing the blog from public view in a week.
Being called Manicstamper people expect to see stamping and I'm afraid at the moment I am not getting much time to do stamping as I used to do it and I think that readers are getting a poor deal visiting here to find a post telling that yesterday I did painting and potato printing with Ruby and made potted cheese and other such domestic stuff.
I am hoping that there will come a time when I can get back to doing what I love and start up the blog again but for now I'll just say goodbye and thanks so much to everyone who has visited regularly.
Love
Sheila-x-
Sorry to see you go, I've followed you for a while and though I don't leave comments often I enjoy reading your posts, both the stamping ones and the general chatty ones. But I do understand how difficult it is fitting crafting in with everyday life, so goodbye for now and hope to see you back soon. xxx Carol xxx
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOO please don't stop Sheila - I love keeping up with you and Rubydoodle on your blog--and when stamping appears thats just a bonus! Please re consider x x x
ReplyDeleteOh no - please don't go - blog titles are just 'names' and not to be taken literally - otherwise there would be some really queer posting on some of the blogs I follow!
ReplyDeleteI love visitng you - and generally most folks include other areas of their lives on their blogs.
I am sure no-one expects to see a wild woman with wide glazed eyes, stamps in both hands, surrounded by ink pads and stamping frantically to the classical music of the Bumblebee. - No seeing musicians play that as fast as they do does look manic - but what a joy to see and hear.
Do take good care of yourself and come back soonxxx
If you don't display a card I just assume manicstamper applies to you stamping around the house looking for your glasses or some such nonsense. I love catching up with you and yours on a regular basis, the cards are just a bonus. Please carry on, if not you will be sadly missed
ReplyDeleteOh Sheila don't stay away too long, love popping into your blog for updates and seeing your fab cards. Sandra
ReplyDeleteSheila I hope you come back to us soon, I will miss your domestic goddess updates and of course the reports on what Miss Doodle has been up to ! Enjoy your extra time and please come back to us soon ! Sue C x
ReplyDeleteSheila please don't stop your blogging. Having followed at least 15 blogs, I have reduced it down to just my 3 most favourites and you are in that 3. As another follower said it is just interesting to read your blog and if a card is included then that is a bonus. PLEASE STAY
ReplyDeleteWill miss you
ReplyDelete:(
ReplyDeleteBut I like hearing about you and Doodle Bug.
I have never commented but you are on my daily 'check' list. I like reading about Ruby Doodle and the domestic bits. The cards are a real bonus. I understand life can get pressured but there are some who don't blog for months and then pop back in for a while before they take another break. Please don't take it down all together.

Sheila, I have enjoyed reading your blog over the last couple of years and will miss your posts whether or not they had a card attached. Having looked after my little grand-daugher Daisy for nearly two years now since her Mummy went back to work when she was 9 months old, I know what you mean about lack of time for crafting and feeling completely worn out by the end of the day. On the up-side it is very rewarding taking the journey with our little ones and watching them grow and learn. I hope you are able to have more time for crafting in the future, and wish you well.
ReplyDeleteSheila, I am sorry to read this, I do read your blog on a regular basis but don't always comment. I love to read how you and ruby doodle are doing. Please don't stay away too long.
ReplyDeleteLove & hugs

ReplyDeleteI lived in England years ago, and have regularly visited since then - my favorite country for a holiday. I love hearing about Tesco, the garden centre you visit, and your recipes, so please keep blogging when you can.
