Shabby Roses!!!

Another busy day in the Manic household.....when is it ever not.......lol!!! So just to wind down a bit I have sat for a couple of hours and put this card together.
It was totally inspired by the flowered paper from my stash which needs using up.
The large bracket shape is half of a square one I cut on the Cricut Expression. It took a bit of working out to get it exactly the right size as the shape it cuts is a frame and this is the centre. I was quite sensible and did the cutting on scrap card to make myself a template to draw around rather than wasting paper trying to get it right.
The cartridge was Wild Card and the shape is a liner for a gift box........the last but one key on the pad and I cut at 9 1/2 inches for this A5 card and then cut the template in half.
Paper is K & Co and Paper Adventures.
For the shading I used an All Night Media Coffee ink pad and the stitching around the circle is hand pierced and drawn with a fineliner pen.
Greeting is a strip of card which I cut fine enough to go through my Dymo.
Leaves are hand cut from Bazzill Bling and then inked.

My lovely DD has given me a huge treat today.......a bottle of Sanctuary Foam Bath. I ran out ages ago and haven't really been able to afford the luxury so I will probably be in the bath until 2am.........lol!!! I shall look like a prune but smell divine.

Only four days left to get your name down for the Blog Candy so go HERE to be in with a chance of getting the goodies.

Thanks for dropping by.
