Daring Cardmakers-Photo Finish

Hi there
Sorry I've not been around but I 've had a rough few days what with one thing and another.
Had a bit of a confidence crisis which very nearly had me boxing up all of my crafting stuff and selling it. It's still there in the back of my mind but I'm hanging fire on doing anything about it for the minute.

Anyway.....I decided I would have a go at the DCM challenge to try and cheer myself up a bit.
I must admit that although I do like sepia photographs, black and white are my most favourite and I love this image. I have teamed it with my favourite black and white spotty papers with just a touch of red.........mmmmmm didn't I do this last week...lol!!! Must be going through a bit of a phase.
Fab challenge as always.......thanks Tracie.
Bye for now

  2. It is a sign of your modesty and general loveliness that you have a crisis of confidence - as you are one of the most inspiring and talented crafters I know. This card is as beautiful as all the others that you do and your inventiveness never ceases to amaze me!

  3. I'm behind on my blog hopping Sheila, sorry I've not been to call for a while.

Sorry you're feeling a bit wobbly. I genuinely love the stuff you do -- you're so inventive and creative with the way you approach materials and techniques, I always learn something when I come here. You've done some fab cards recently and I was admiring your new uploads to the Tanda gallery only yesterday.

Keep smiling, you'll be feeling back to normal again soo, I'm sure.

Sheila, if you you are having a crisis of confidence and threatening to box up your craft stuff, then there's no hope for the rest of us. It's to you I come when I'm lacking mojo as I know I'll always find something inspiring and thought provoking in your work

  7. Beautiful card Sheila, I second what everyone else said, self confidence is a strange thing isn't it, no matter what anyone else tells you, I think sometimes you have to see it for yourself IYSWIM.
