It never carves very well and ends up in chunks or the other extreme - stringy like pulled ham! So I'm afraid this year I've cheated and bought a ready roasted piece and it's even ready sliced! How lazy is that!! Yum.

yey, you got your comments changed to the way you wanted!

I'd planned to do my festive veg prep this afternoon, but things have changed. Violet is being sick, so the thought of sprouty scent wafting through the house isn't the best of ideas. Though other than that, she seems quite ok, so fingers crossed she'll be back to normal tomorrow. We've all got sniffles and whatnot, sigh, just in time for Christmas. :o(

Glad not to be in town or in any supermarkets today, I can't be doing with manic people getting in my way when I'm shopping!

xxxSadiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09446043225149493179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313878913294119263.post-9637819758912415012016-12-23T13:25:40.261+00:002016-12-23T13:25:40.261+00:00Our new tradition for Boxing day which I started l...Our new tradition for Boxing day which I started last year is cold turkey, ham, cheeses, pickles and a bowl of salad with crusty bread. Anything else just wouldn't be right. I've been catching up with what you've been up to and did a sharp gasp when I read about the fire. Thank goodness it wasn't worse. The cookies and peppermint creams look lovely. We always made P creams when we were little and would dip one half in chocolate.

It's Wet, windy and cold here as well.
